Awards 2009-2011
  • * One of Bill’s images, Time Portal, received the Award of Merit (highest of two award levels) in the Monochrome division of the Mid-Peninsula Photographic Alliance’s annual 2008-2009 competition.

    * Two of Bill’s images were selected for display in a juried show in Fredericksburg Virginia. One of the images was chosen to represent the show.

    * Two of Bill’s images were selected for display in 2010 in a juried show titled Landscapes, Real and Imagined at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, California.

    * Many of Bill's images have won awards, from first place to honorable mention, at various Palo Alto Camera Club monthly competitions. A few of these images can be found on this web site in the PACC gallery.

    * One of Bill's images, jointly created with Ira Greenberg, was submitted in a monthly Monochrome competition at the Sunnyvale California Camera Club where it was awarded first place.

    * Two of Bill’s images won first place and four images were awarded honorable mention at the Palo Alto Camera Club’s 2009 Annual Competition.

    * One of Bill's images won first place and three images won second place at the Palo Alto Camera Club's 2010 Annual Competition.

    * Bill was the recipient of the "Anne MacKenzie Award in Fine Art Photography for 2010" given by the Palo Alto Camera Club for the print best representing originality and personal vision. His image is titled "Alone" and can be found on this website in the "Dark" gallery. A $200 cash prize accompanied the award.

    * Three of Bill's images were selected to be in a nineteen image show at the City Hall in Palo Alto, California.

    * One of Bill’s images was selected for the 2011 Kellicutt International Juried Photo Show, Half Moon Bay, California.

    * Two of Bill’s images were selected for display in 2011 in a juried show titled Figures and Faces at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, California.

    * Bill’s work in Abstracts was chosen in a juried competition for a solo exhibit in 2011 at the Center for the Performing Arts in Mountain View, California. Twenty images shown and a $250 cash prize awarded.
